The Lac Hervé property was the object of numerous exploration surveys spread all over the area. In all, 4 magnetic, 11 EM and 10 IP surveys were carried out. 90 drill holes are listed in previous works. The most recent works were concentrated in the southern portion with 2 EM surveys and a deep drill hole (CLE-07-20) intended to test an airborne MegaTEM anomaly.
In 2014, Falco drilled a deep hole to test an off-hole EM anomaly detected in the 2007 hole for a total of 1,020 metres. This hole intersected a stringer zone of black chlorite and sulfides. This type of zone is usually closely associated with a VMS system.
Several base and precious metals showings are known on the property. Here are the best results:
1.96% Zn and 2 g/t Ag over 0.24 metres
0.99% Zn and 1.3 g/t Ag over 0.5 metres
