Mr. Luc Lessard holds a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from Laval University, is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and has over 30 years of experience in the design, construction and operation of mines. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer and Director of Falco Resources and Chief Operating Officer of Osisko Development. He currently sits on the board of directors of Osisko Metals.
Prior to joining Falco and Osisko, Luc was Senior Vice President, Technical Services of Osisko Gold Royalties, COO of Canadian Malartic GP (jointly owned by Agnico Eagle and Yamana Mines) and COO and Senior Vice President, Engineering and Construction of Osisko Mining Corporation, where he was responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of the Canadian Malartic gold mine. He also was Vice President of Engineering and Construction for Iamgold and General Manager for Cambior. During his career, Mr. Lessard worked on several surface and underground mining projects.
Mr. Ronald Bougie has over 25 years of construction and project development experience gained throughout the construction of several successful mining and industrial projects. Prior to joining Falco, he served as Executive Vice President Engineering, Construction and Operation for the Ciment McInnis project. Mr. Bougie previously led the construction efforts of the Renard diamond mine as General Manager, Engineering and Construction. He also played a key role as General Manager, Engineering and Construction during the development and construction of the Canadian Malartic gold mine which is currently Canada’s largest gold mine.
Ms. Cartier began her career in the mining industry within the Cambior Inc. team before assuming the position of Vice-President, Environmental Services and Sustainable Development at Osisko Mining Corporation where she was closely involved in the development process and commissioning of the Canadian Malartic mine. With a degree in industrial engineering and a bachelor’s degree in law, Ms. Cartier has worked in the environmental field for over 20 years. She is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and she holds the designation of certified company administrator from the College of Company Administrators. Ms. Cartier sits on the board of directors of the Association minière du Québec and has served on the boards of directors of Endeavor Mining Corporation (2020-2021), Semafo Inc. (2019-2020), Groupe Technosub (2016-2017) and of the Classica Festival (2012-2018).
Mr. Anthony Glavac has over 15 years of experience in financial reporting, including over 10 years in the mining industry.
He most recently held the positions of Director-Financial Reporting and Internal Controls at Dynacor Gold Mines and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Alderon Iron Ore Corp. Anthony was a Senior Manager at KPMG, working with both public and private companies, providing audit, taxation, strategic advisory and public offering services.
Mr. Christian Laroche has over 16 years of experience in engineering, design and construction of mining projects.
Prior to joining OMC in 2009, Mr. Laroche spent nine years at BBA consulting engineering and participated as Project Manager on the Canadian Malartic development project. Mr. Laroche was site support engineer for the construction and commissioning of the Canadian Malartic project. Upon the sale of OMC, Mr. Laroche transitioned with Yamana Gold for one year, where he served as Director Metallurgy. Mr. Laroche joined Osisko as Director Metallurgy in 2015.
Mr. André Le Bel has been appointed as Vice President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of Osisko in February 2015.
From November 2007 to June 2014, Mr. Le Bel was Vice President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of OMC. Mr. Le Bel was Vice President, Legal affairs with IAMGOLD Corporation from November 2006 to October 2007 and before November 2006, Mr. Le Bel was Senior Legal Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary of Cambior Inc. Mr. Le Bel is also a director of Komet Resources Inc., listed on the TSX-V. He was appointed as Vice President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of NioGold Mining Corp. from March 2015 to March 2016, was a director and a member of the audit committee of Threegold Resources Inc. from May 2011 to June 2013 and was a director of RedQuest Capital Corp., a capital pool company listed on the NEX board of the TSX-V from March 2010 to June 2017.
Mr. François Vézina is a Mining Engineer with over 17 years of experience in mining and has extensive experience in open pit and underground operations in Canada, Mexico and Finland.
Mr. Vézina was Technical Service Manager for Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited and was responsible for overseeing the completion of the feasibility studies of LaRonde II, Pinos Altos and Kittilä. Mr. Vézina participated in the construction and commissioning of Pinos Altos as Mine Development Manager and Kittilä as Mine Operations Manager before joining OMC and participating as Mine Manager in the construction of the Canadian Malartic Mine. He served for over 5 years as Mine Operations Manager at the Canadian Malartic mine. Mr. Vézina is a specialist in mine operation optimization and is recognized for innovative mining techniques and optimization of feasibility studies.
Mr. Vézina holds a Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering and a Master in Business Administration (MBA). He is a registered Engineer (Eng.) in Quebec and (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
