Mr. Luc Lessard is a mining engineer with more than 25 years of experience designing, building and operating mines. He is President and Chief Executive Officer of Falco and Senior Vice President, Technical Services of Osisko.
He was previously Chief Operating Officer of the Canadian Malartic Partnership (owned jointly by Agnico and Yamana), and prior to that was the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President of Engineering and Construction for OMC where he was responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of the Canadian Malartic gold mine.
During his career, Mr. Lessard has worked on 11 open pit and underground mine builds and prior to Falco, Mr. Lessard was Vice President of Engineering and Construction for IAMGOLD Corporation and General Manager, Projects for Cambior Inc. Mr. Lessard sits on the Board of Directors of Nighthawk Gold Corp., Highland Copper Company Inc. and Osisko Metals Incorporated. Since February 2016, he acts as Chief Operating Officer of Barkerville Gold Mines Ltd.
Mr. Ronald Bougie has over 25 years of construction and project development experience gained throughout the construction of several successful mining and industrial projects. Prior to joining Falco, he served as Executive Vice President Engineering, Construction and Operation for the Ciment McInnis project. Mr. Bougie previously led the construction efforts of the Renard diamond mine as General Manager, Engineering and Construction. He also played a key role as General Manager, Engineering and Construction during the development and construction of the Canadian Malartic gold mine which is currently Canada’s largest gold mine.
Ms. Hélène Cartier is a corporate director (Technosub since 2016 and Festival Classica since 2012).
She was Vice president, Environment and Sustainable Development at OMC from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, Ms. Cartier was Deputy Manager of La rue des Femmes de Montréal. Ms. Cartier holds a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Law. She was intimately involved in the community relations aspects during the development and operating phases of the Canadian Malartic Mine.
Mr. Anthony Glavac has over 15 years of experience in financial reporting, including over 10 years in the mining industry.
He most recently held the positions of Director-Financial Reporting and Internal Controls at Dynacor Gold Mines and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Alderon Iron Ore Corp. Anthony was a Senior Manager at KPMG, working with both public and private companies, providing audit, taxation, strategic advisory and public offering services.
Mr. Christian Laroche has over 16 years of experience in engineering, design and construction of mining projects.
Prior to joining OMC in 2009, Mr. Laroche spent nine years at BBA consulting engineering and participated as Project Manager on the Canadian Malartic development project. Mr. Laroche was site support engineer for the construction and commissioning of the Canadian Malartic project. Upon the sale of OMC, Mr. Laroche transitioned with Yamana Gold for one year, where he served as Director Metallurgy. Mr. Laroche joined Osisko as Director Metallurgy in 2015.
Mr. André Le Bel has been appointed as Vice President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of Osisko in February 2015.
From November 2007 to June 2014, Mr. Le Bel was Vice President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of OMC. Mr. Le Bel was Vice President, Legal affairs with IAMGOLD Corporation from November 2006 to October 2007 and before November 2006, Mr. Le Bel was Senior Legal Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary of Cambior Inc. Mr. Le Bel is also a director of Komet Resources Inc., listed on the TSX-V. He was appointed as Vice President, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of NioGold Mining Corp. from March 2015 to March 2016, was a director and a member of the audit committee of Threegold Resources Inc. from May 2011 to June 2013 and was a director of RedQuest Capital Corp., a capital pool company listed on the NEX board of the TSX-V from March 2010 to June 2017.
Mr. Claude Léveillée has more than 30 years experience on a national and international level in Human Resources and Community Relations.
Prior to joining Falco, Mr. Léveillée worked with Agnico Eagle Mines Limited in various capacities, most recently as Corporate Director, Human Resources – Organizational Development. Mr. Léveillée had a critical role in developing Agnico’s policies and procedures for all local and international operations as well as the company representative and spokesperson at both regional and provincial levels.
Mr. Vincent Metcalfe is a graduate of HEC Montreal.
Prior to joining Falco, he spent nine years assisting mining companies in investment banking at BMO Capital Markets in Toronto before moving to Desjardins Capital Markets, where he was most recently a Director in the Montreal office. Mr. Metcalfe is Vice President, Investor Relations with Osisko since November 2016.
Mr. François Vézina is a Mining Engineer with over 17 years of experience in mining and has extensive experience in open pit and underground operations in Canada, Mexico and Finland.
Mr. Vézina was Technical Service Manager for Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited and was responsible for overseeing the completion of the feasibility studies of LaRonde II, Pinos Altos and Kittilä. Mr. Vézina participated in the construction and commissioning of Pinos Altos as Mine Development Manager and Kittilä as Mine Operations Manager before joining OMC and participating as Mine Manager in the construction of the Canadian Malartic Mine. He served for over 5 years as Mine Operations Manager at the Canadian Malartic mine. Mr. Vézina is a specialist in mine operation optimization and is recognized for innovative mining techniques and optimization of feasibility studies.
Mr. Vézina holds a Bachelor degree in Mining Engineering and a Master in Business Administration (MBA). He is a registered Engineer (Eng.) in Quebec and (P.Eng.) in Ontario.
Mr. Belleau is a professional mining engineer with over 25 years of industry experience gained while working with several senior Canadian based mining companies. Most recently, he held the Mine General Manager role at the Éléonore gold mine, a $2 Billion project. During his eight-year tenure at the Éléonore Gold mine, he was responsible for the preliminary feasibility studies, exploration, permitting, engineering, construction, and extraction activities and processing at the plant. Under his leadership, the Éléonore Gold mine was recognized for its outstanding safety record in the 2016 calendar year with the John T. Ryan National Safety Trophy for Metal Mines.
Mr. Bernier is a geological engineer, graduate from Université Laval and holds a vast experience in the management of exploration projects.
Prior to joining Falco Resources, Mr. Bernier held, among others, the position of Project Manager, exploration for Iamgold, Westwood division from 2003 to 2013. Mr. Bernier is a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
Mr. Doire is a graduate of the CEGEP de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue in mineral technology and holds a Certificate in Management and Administration from the Université du Québec.
Working in exploration for various mining companies throughout the 90s, Mr. Doire has focused on the environmental aspect and obtained a position at the Ministère de l’Environnement du Québec in 1999. Back in the industry in 2008, Mr. Doire acquired a solid experience with Agnico Eagle and Matamec, where he contributed, among other things, to feasibility studies, environmental studies and permitting.
